Syros Building Facades (or views)
The objective of this project was to create the architectural imprint of the buildings. Specifically, the building facades were designed with the use of aerial photography.
Building views created from aerial and/or terrestrial photos provide both ease and speed during the design phase and detail and precision to the final draft. The use of orthomosaic to design buildings of Neoclassical architecture, with elaborate facades, is the ideal tool to precisely document their complex geometrical characteristics.
- Orthophoto map precision: 1-2 cm.
- Orthophoto map resolution (pixel size): 2-5 mm.
- Aerial photos: 300 per building
- Study area: 3 buildings, 3views per building
